You know sometimes I get really nervous talking about my opinions on things regarding art or about my own ideas for projects. More often than not whenever I do say something it feels like whoever bothers to listen to me is like “uh huh that’s nice hun" like a mother who’s had a long day and is humoring her kid when they’re telling her about their imaginary friends day or something. Most people don’t outright tell me to shut up already though I have had people actually roll their eyes at me when I talk about animation and things that happen in the industry. I’ve even gotten the feeling that art teachers get annoyed at me for making things related to own project ideas.

Though even weirder to me is that whenever I talk about things that have nothing to do with story telling or animation like my beading or singing or literally anything that doesn’t have to do with drawing people seem really encouraging. Like “oh yes that’s cool you should pursue that" and while I enjoy making things out of beads and I enjoy singing I don’t want to pursue them as careers. They’re hobbies. And this is really disheartening and it get’s me down sometimes.
